Willow Creek Worship Artists Share Music

(0)

The community of Willow Creek Community Church recently received a unique gift as part of the 2010 Easter devotionals published online: free worship music. Eight of Willow Creek’s volunteer and staff musicians contributed a total of 15 original worship songs ready for MP3 downloading, free of charge. Due to the overwhelmingly positive response to these songs, Willow Creek is providing contact information to the contributing artists, for those who wish to explore their music further.

Raising Financially Healthy Kids

(0)

Allowances. Budgeting. Savings. Giving. If your children are like most, only one of these four words is part of their lingo—allowances!  But what about the other three? What does it look like to help kids develop strong financial values based on biblical principles? How can we help our kids learn wise, financial decision-making as they move from childhood toward adulthood?

Raising Financially Healthy Kids, a free workshop on February 26-27 at the South Barrington campus of Willow Creek Community Church, equips parents to guide their kids in the critical area of finances. Topics covered include allowances, budgeting, materialism, spending, giving, and saving. Parents walk away equipped, confident, and energized to help their children use biblical principles when making financial decisions.
